This past weekend, I was at Whole Foods in Beacon Hill and noticed this chalk drawing facing outwards from the store. I tweeted the following message…
Now, this was obviously sarcastic. The chalk drawing is freaking horrible… it looks like the woman’s arms are made of spaghetti and her hands are 1/16th the size they should be.
Anyways, today @WholeFoods tweeted back at me with this gem.
Did they even bother to read my tweet and look at the photo? If you are going to dedicate resources to monitoring your social media channels- actually monitor them.



Hi Matt! It’s @Liz_Downey. I saw you had a dot-com and wanted to check it out. Here, you are making a fabulous point. I get so many auto-tweets from major companies like Geico and Travelers because I do a lot of insurance tweeting — I double as an insurance broker. It’s so ridiculous because I’ll say something in passing and get an automatic response saying, “Thank you for your input, mate” from the Geico Gecko. Puh-leez.
